Our Purpose

The Pearl of Africa Music & Instruments Awards exists to give value to talent.

We believe an artiste should not have to be famous before their work is recognized.

We believe a producer, songwriter, instrumentalist, sound engineer, band, DJ or other music professional deserves recognition for the role they play in creating Uganda's music.

And we believe that talent exists in every part of Uganda.
